BEACH Days: Boston Economics and Computing Hub Workshops

Part of the goal of BEACH is to bring together researchers working in Economics and Computing in the Boston area across disciplines and institutions together. To this end, we hold semesterly workshops called "BEACH Day"s on focused topics in Economics and Computing. See previous and future workshops below. Upcoming BEACH Day: April 10, 2026


Join us for our third BEACH Day this April 10! Our topic will be Strategic Communication and Information Design at Boston College, organized by Maneesha Papireddygari, Gili Rusak, Francisco Marmolejo-Cossio, and Jess Finocchiaro. The schedule will include a mixture of hour-long bootcamp-style talks and shorter half-hour talks on recent work. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Location: The workshop will take place in the Schiller Convening Space (Room 501) at 245 Beacon St Chestnut Hill, MA 02467

Registration is free but required. To ensure we have appropriate space and food, please register as soon as possible at this link, but no later than April 2. (If this deadline is a limiting factor, please contact the organizers.)

Getting Here: Driving: We have limited parking validations available, but encourage carpooling if you do drive. Park in the garage under Alumni Stadium and hold onto your parking ticket. Park in areas with white lines between spaces, marked with the section G. Taking the T: the green line: B line will take you to Boston College (+10 minute walk to the building), C line will take you to Cleveland Circle (+20 minute walk to the building), D line to Reservoir (+ 20 minute walk to building). Taking the bus: if coming from Central/Allston: the 86 bus will get you about a 15 minute walk away from the building.
